Cultural Wedding Ceremony

A Celebrant-led ceremony can provide a combination of a traditional wedding ceremony with a cultural ceremony to create a unique and memorable celebration that honours the rich heritage and customs of both partners. This fusion allows couples to incorporate meaningful rituals, symbols, and traditions from their cultural backgrounds into the timeless framework of a classic wedding. Whether it's blending with traditional dances, attire, or symbolic elements, this approach not only enriches the ceremony but also creates a vibrant tapestry of love and unity that reflects the diverse roots of the couple's shared journey. Embracing this blend fosters a deeper connection to family histories while crafting new traditions for future generations.

Multi cultural wedding ceremony

Feedback received from Mia & Manny following their beautiful ceremony with a blend of traditional and Sri Lankan cultures. Their personalised ceremony held beside a flowing stream at The Old Vicarage, Elkesley,  was magical complete with Sri Lankan drummers and dancers.  Guests from all over the world witnessed the couple’s pinky fingers intertwined with a blessed thread, water poured over their linked hands, symbolising their love will keep flowing on forever.  Followed by a coconut-breaking ritual to signify new beginnings!

...“Sue fully embraced our ideas for a merged culture wedding and guided us through with planning the perfect ceremony.

Sue made us feel so at ease and had such a warm and comforting presence that we both needed on our big day!! Thank you for being with us, we won’t forget it ...”
